Pandemic Update

May 21, 2020 -- Posted by : admin

It's been a while now since this lil ol' lockdown kicked in.  With the gradual easing of restrictions and changes to which certain businesses can start to open.  I wanted to let you know my plans.  Photographers seem to be falling into a grey area without getting much in the way of guidance either way.

At the moment the rules indicate we can meet with one person from outside our household in an open place, following social guidelines.  With these rules in mind, I am now slowly starting to ease back into photographing some types of portrait sessions.  These sessions include, dog portraiture, where we are outside with one owner and head shots for models and actors, again, taken outside on a one to one basis....

I'm looking to start photographing family sessions once hairdressers and makeup artists are allowed to return to work.  I’m sure most Mum’s will appreciate this and want their "lockdown hair" sorted out before facing a camera!  At which point I’ll follow all of the required safety precautions and probably more.  All being well, this will be the start of July.

Until then I’m still here - if a little quiet. I've been working on a few projects and have built my new website which has kept me busy.

I've had a few messages asking about weddings and portraits that I have photographed over the past 20 years so.  I've being delving into my archives. Do let me know if you'd be interesting in me retrieving anything for you if there's something that you didn't get from your session that you would like now.

Stay safe!
Ivan
